Pedestrians to rule King Street on Sunday
The heart of King Street’s retail district will become a pedestrian-style shopping mall Sunday. As part of Do The Charleston, a shopping event with sidewalk sales, outdoor dining, street vendors, art and children’s activities, King Street will be closed to motorized traffic between Calhoun and Queen streets from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. The event runs noon-5 p.m.
