The Next Bailout Commercial Real Estate

Featured Real Estate Video

December 22, 2008. The Wall Street Journal published a report stating that commercial real estate developers are asking for a bailout. Will the government step in and shift the debt from developers to the American tax-payers? Or will Obama let the wealthy property owners take a hit?

  1. If we are to bailout these guys how about a condition: that from now on forever there shall be no speculation in real estate of any kind and the way to do this is to tax 100% the increase of land value which is 90% + of the increase of real estate values when times are good. There should not be too much push back on this condition because everyone knows that land value is completely 100% created by the community and not by anything anyone does. At the same time untax increases in improvements

  2. Commercial real estate getting closer to be needing a bailout every day.

  3. this is it commercial RE will collapse at the end of this year or early next year then bond market will collapse then dollar by 2012 we shall see Amero if u have any paper assets look for opportunities to get rid of it as soon as possible.
Buy cow shit if u have 2 .Sell stocks bonds certificates ,invest in self sufficiency .

  4. Very cool video right on. These ware house ass holes are threatening to sue our township right now for huge warehouse complex approvals in wet lands . When new jersey now has 2 or 3 hundred million square feet of new and old warehousing space vacant . Drive down the new jersey turnpike between exit 9 and 7 and see the huge warehouses all vacant. But the ass holes are still building more. Guess they want to store air and empty boxes.Or these guys are getting the free money and blowing it.

  5. Many errors in these sentences.
Higher classes have a better access to spending, that should be obvious since it can be used as a definition of being rich.
Being higher class also opens the door to be over extended, more than the lower classes.
The last bit is obviously the worse: removing an access to spending wont change poverty level.

  6. The lower classes have better access to spending, spending money they don’t have. That is why their asses are poor.

  7. The higher classes have usually a better access to tax cuts than the middle class.

  8. Dude…
I like your vids. Your stuff is tight. Short, succinct, informative. Very cool.
    Thanks
